Meg's Review:

I really enjoyed this novel. I went back and fourth on its rating. I was pretty set on 4.5 so I always rate higher. I figure if it has be to that point then it deserves it because I liked it enough to give is above a 4. This novel follows Nadia and Ty. Its a love story with a new take on the normal. I enjoyed it. Nadia has interest in one of her neighbors, but he isn't exactly ready for a relationship. He is focused on school, work and his son. Good priorities if I may say so. Well until the whole Friends With Benefits thing happens. That NEVER works out like you think it will. Ever. Nadia is, as you would expect, falling, and Ty, well he has his won problems with this set up they have going. I really liked Nadia. She was a heroine that I enjoyed reading about. She didn't drive me up a wall, but she wasn't too unrealistic either. A great balance. Ty. I really enjoyed Ty. He was a man that was taking on far more then most people and doing it the best he could. He was still a typical man in the way that he made some stupid mistakes, but it made for a great story. I was holding out for a HEA for those two. This storyline kept my attention and it wasn't Exactly what you thought was going to happen. I liked the fact that it had some small twists that kept it original in the FWB side of things. A great NA read if you are looking for sometime to just make you smile.

Synopsis:

Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she’s determined to make them come true. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, dating’s the last thing on her mind. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B…. Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can’t risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, the last thing he wants is noisy students living in the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia’s and Ty’s paths cross, and soon they can’t stay away from each other. The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can’t know what you truly need until you stand to lose it. Read the First Chapter HERE! "A tender, sweet, and sexy story about how life—and falling in love—can never be planned." —Jennifer L.
