Goodreads|Amazon This book did not let down. With the ending of Breathing Black, I was super excited to read this novel. I had to go back and re-read, and I would recommend that if its been a while for you as well. This book is exhilarating and gripping page after page. This book jumps POV on you and while I am always on the fence with that, it works well for this novel. You get a ton of perspective and it really feels like your watching a movie. I forgot how much I enjoyed Piper's writing. She has such a grace with her characters. Their personalities are relatable, and they feel like people I have known for ever. The plot of this book is twisted and so much fun to read. You never really know what is going to happen next. I couldn't put it down. Exhilarating.
