My Review:

This book was one of those that really pulled your heart strings at a few spots. It was emotional and wrenching and all I wanted to do for the first few pages was save the heroine from her life. Meet Cass Daniels, her life consists of a drug addicted mother, an abusive drug addict boyfriend, a hanging in there diner job, and a trailer park that is anything but safe. But meet Cass Daniels, a beautiful girl, fighting and saving for the day she can finally get away from this. The day she can make her life better. She knows she wont have everything, but she at least has this. Until she doesn't. Tucker is out hot lead singer that drops out of nowhere into Cass's very own Diner. With that one faithful event her life is changed. With his instant attraction to Cass she is not so taken. She has a life and she doesn't believe she deserves or will ever get any better. She will certainly not be a hook up for this guy, or any. Her boyfriend may be worthless and a waste or air, but she is with him and that is that. Good thing Tucker wont let her misconceptions deter him. He knows she deserves better and he does his absolute best to prove it to her. He makes it his goal to show her what she really deserves. This story is one of breaking the mold. Its about fighting for yourself even if its not what you think you deserve. Tucker. Tucker was Cass's Knight in shining armor even if she didn't believe she deserved one. Now, don't go thinking this story is the boy saves girl and they live happily ever after. This is a story of survival. A lot happens to Cass and Tucker before a Happily Ever is even a possibility, and even then life is still throwing some big obstacles in their way. I couldn't put the book down. It had me emotionally invested and I needed to get to the end before I stopped reading. I couldn't leave the characters hanging. I felt their story, and it needed to be told. Good thing I like to listen. I think this is my absolute favorite by Teresa. I have read her other works and this one definitely moved me. I label it a must read. Its a passionate, painful, wonderful read. Add it. Click it. Buy it. 5 Stars. Now go read it.

Synopsis:

A word-of-mouth bestseller that’s captivating readers with its honesty, grit, and headstrong heroine, White Trash Beautiful is a story for anyone who has ever felt trapped in life, cheated by love—and longed for something more . . .Cass Daniels isn’t waiting for her knight in shining armor. She knows that girls like her don’t get a happily ever after. Not if you live in a trailer with your mom, work at a greasy spoon diner, and get leered at by old men. Maybe that’s why she puts up with Jackson—her poor excuse for a boyfriend, who treats her like dirt. Cass has learned to accept her lot in life. That is, until he walks into her diner. . . .

His name is Tucker White, and he’s different from any man Cass has ever known. Tall, tattooed, and bad-ass gorgeous, he’s the lead singer of the rock band Damaged. From the moment they meet, Tucker sees something in Cass he just can’t shake. Something beautiful. Something haunted. Something special. And he’s determined to find out what it is—if only he can get her to open up and let him in. . .
