In-stock titles ship within 3-5 days.

Novel Editions ship approximately 1 month after pre-order closes.

Pre-orders typically ship within 14 days of the book release, unless otherwise specified on the listing. While we do our best to ship as close to release as possible, pre-orders that include incentives require us to wait for all items to be received before shipping.

**If you order multiple pre-order books that have different release dates in the same order, all books will ship when the FINAL book is released due to combined shipping.**

We recommend double-checking against a current item you own to compare sizing, as everyone likes their clothing to fit differently.

Almost everything in our shop ships worldwide. We do have some items, such as our knit sweaters, that are restricted in certain countries.

We do! We have started to collect VAT at the time of order, and have secured discounted international shipping rates with USPS and DHL. We are still in the early stages of this implementation, and we apologize for any glitches in the process.

The customer is responsible for all Customs/Import/Tariff charges upon delivery. Currently, we can only charge VAT for the UK & EU.

Our Items are made with a direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology, it uses high-quality inks that won't fade for a long time if taken care of properly.

Keep in mind that the original manufacturer's care instructions don't take into consideration the DTG printing process. So we suggest following the care instructions here to learn how to take care of your printed garments properly.

Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.

DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.

Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. (Not Including Pre-Orders) Delivery times vary by location, but most orders arrive within 5-7 business days. You’ll receive tracking details once your order ships.

Physical tickets are not shipped/provided; your name and order number will be checked at the door for admission.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. In instances where  refunds are offered, it will be stated on the specific event listing, and refunds will only be available up to 30 days before the event by emailing books@novelgrounds.com

We will hold books for 30 days for in-store pickup for any ticket holder who does not attend the event. Books will not be shipped; any books not picked up after 30 days will be donated to the bookstore. Incentives and/or event-related items will not be provided after the event.

For books, what do we consider damage?

• Large dented or crushed corners
• Ripped Pages
• A tear or rip on the front of the book or spine
• Residue or marks on the front or spine that cannot be removed
• Water Damage
• USPS Running over the box

What do we NOT consider damage?

• Small marks on the back of the book
• Page bleeding or unevenly sprayed edges - These are done by the publisher and checked before shipping by them for quality control
• Minor creasing/indent, or folding on the top or bottom of the book spine
• Wavy books - Not water Damage
• Slight indenting on the corners ofthe spine
• Unmatched sprayed edges for a series

All books in our store come from the printer, to the publisher, then to us, and then to you. Minimal wear is to be expected. We do our best to inspect every book and only send out those within our given parameters from the publisher as acceptable. Unless otherwise noted, books from Novel Grounds and the publishers are NOT collector condition.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product in the mail, email us at help@novelgrounds.com as soon as possible. Please provide your order number in the subject heading so we can advise on the best course of action to rectify the issue, along with any relevant photos. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we want to make it right.

This must be done within 7 days of delivery for clothing items and 14 days for mailed books.

Items must be returned (at your cost) in their original and unworn condition. Once inspected, we can dispatch your exchange or refund as requested.

If your package shows delivered there is nothing we can do as the shipper. You must speak to your local post master.

If your package is lost in transit, please fill out our contact form with your order number and claim information.

** We are unable to send out replacement packages if a claim has not been filed. USPS requires a 30-day no-movement period before a claim can be filed. Once a claim is filed, we will issue a credit or replacement products at our discretion**

**Novel Grounds is not responsible for stolen packages, and they will not be refunded or replaced. Please contact your local post office if this happens and coordinate with them on the next steps. We recommend you file a help request form with the USPS. Once your package leaves us, it is out of our control, and we can only go by the tracking details provided.**

Packages that are returned to us for an insufficient address will be issued as a store credit to the customer, minus any shipping costs. Reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
